A K-12 educational institution in Lansdale, PA, is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to provide specialized support one day per week throughout the current school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute valuable psychological services to students, educators, and families within a dynamic school setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students academic, social, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies and support plans.
- Support student mental health through counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation.
- Assist in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while adhering to state and federal regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute data-driven recommendations.
- Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with professional and legal standards.
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention methods.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
